      1 Purpose

      This process is suitable for process 5 to process 8 in the flowchart.

      Instrument: XF-12D Repair Instrument

      Tools: Pyknometer, straw (used for repairing open battery)

      Materials: deionized water, analytical pure sulfuric acid

      3 Work Procedures

      3.1 Check the repaired battery again. For batteries stored for a long time, there must be no short circuit or open circuit, and the outer shell must be free of damage, leakage, or swelling. For open batteries, the electrolyte concentration and quantity must be tested to meet the specified requirements. Test the initial state of the battery, conduct visual and internal quality inspections, and keep original records of voltage, capacity, and activation time.

      3.2 Detection of battery open circuit voltage

      Each voltage should be higher than 2V. For batteries not exceeding 9V, enter the pulse repair process 8. If it goes through process 8 twice and enters abandoned process 5. For batteries larger than 9V, directly enter the initial charging process 9.

      3.4 Connect the output lines of the lead-acid battery repair device (2 XF12D repair devices have a total of 18 output lines, which can repair 18 batteries at the same time) to the positive and negative terminals of the repaired battery. The red fish clip is connected to the positive pole of the battery, and the black fish clip is connected to the negative pole of the battery. Before wiring, both the power switch and output switch of the repair instrument should be turned off.

      After checking that the polarity of the wiring is correct, turn on the power and sequentially turn on the main power switch and the output switch of the circuit. The corresponding green indicator light should light up. If there are any abnormal situations, the polarity and wiring should be checked for incorrect connections or poor connections, as well as whether the fuse of the repair instrument is blown. If the selected battery is irreparable and the circuit cannot function, the battery should be replaced. After everything is normal, the repair device starts working.

      3.6 Each battery repair treatment should be carried out continuously for more than 24 hours. During the repair treatment, the electrolyte of the open battery will slightly decrease. Additional liquid should be added at any time to keep it at a normal level. Sealed batteries should not be added in this process.

      After repairing the 3.7 battery, the power supply of the repair device should be turned off first, and then the battery connection line can be disconnected.
