      1. One of the primary requirements for military low-temperature batteries is that the larger the capacity, the lighter the weight, the better;

      At present, there are various types of low-temperature batteries, each with its own advantages, characteristics, and disadvantages. The only batteries that can be met are polymer lithium batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, and ternary lithium cobalt oxide batteries. Among these three types of low-temperature lithium batteries, the polymer lithium battery has the highest energy density and lightest weight, followed by ternary lithium cobalt oxide battery, and finally lithium iron phosphate battery.

      2. The military must meet certain safety requirements for ultra-low temperature lithium batteries.

      The safety of batteries is an important factor to consider whether it is for civilian, military, or special equipment applications. However, the safety requirements and standards for batteries vary depending on the application field or purpose. The safety level requirements for military low-temperature lithium batteries are relatively high. The first and foremost requirement is that the battery must undergo a gunshot test to ensure that it does not explode or burn. Other requirements are that the battery must ensure safety and not cause personal injury during high-intensity impacts and impacts.

      3. The military low-temperature battery standard must meet certain charging requirements at a certain temperature:

      Low temperature environment has a significant impact on battery efficiency, so charging batteries in low temperature environment is a difficult technology. Currently, battery technology can achieve fast charging at -20 ℃ and normal charging at -30 ℃. Military low-temperature lithium batteries are generally charged indoors in the wild, with an ambient temperature of around -20 ℃. Therefore, military low-temperature batteries must meet this basic condition. In special circumstances, when charging outdoors, it is necessary to meet the requirement of charging at around -40 degrees Celsius.

      4. The standard for military low-temperature batteries must reach a certain service life

      Low temperature causes significant damage to battery operation, and the lifespan of the battery has always been a tough issue. The damage to batteries at low temperatures is mainly caused by lithium precipitation. If the production and manufacturing technology does not meet the corresponding requirements, the service life of low-temperature batteries will be greatly reduced due to rapid lithium precipitation. Although low-temperature lithium batteries use targeted material formulas, their service life is still much worse than that of room temperature lithium batteries. Therefore, the service life requirement for military low-temperature lithium batteries is generally one year or more.
