It can withstand a current of 15C for extremely fast charging, and can charge from 10% to more than 90% in 3 minutes. The discharge capacity retention rate at -20°C is more than 85%. These seemingly impossible parameters have become a reality. On the 22nd, Miaosheng Power Technology Co., Ltd., an intelligent manufacturing demonstration enterprise of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, released the Three Minutes China Super Fast Charging Power Battery System and Electric Vehicles. This new technology is expected to solve the worldwide problem of fast charging of electric vehicles.
As the "heart" of electric vehicles, the performance of power batteries restricts the development of electric vehicles. Short battery life, slow charging, and certain safety risks are the major "Achilles heel" of current power batteries.
In order to break through these industry problems, scientific researchers have conducted in-depth research on the three major battery material systems of cathode materials, anode materials, and electrolytes after years of painstaking research and development, and achieved major breakthroughs in the new energy automobile industry.
Compared with the current 30-minute fast charge that is already excellent enough in the industry, the world's first mass-produced 3-minute super fast-charge battery released this time can continuously charge at a rate of more than 15C at a high speed, charging more than 80% in 3 minutes, and 1C charge. It has a lifespan of more than 10,000 discharge cycles and can start normally and charge quickly even in extremely cold and low temperature (-20°C) environments.
It is understood that the data indicators were entrusted to a new energy vehicle power battery testing agency to conduct comprehensive charging efficiency testing, and a third-party authoritative notary agency was invited to supervise the entire process of its charging and discharging testing.
At present, Miaosheng's super fast-charging electric vehicles have completed 36,000 kilometers of inspections and experienced road tests in four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, as well as in different environments and roads. The car weighs 1,700kg and is loaded with 23.8 kilowatt-hours of electricity. The battery energy density is about 150wh/kg and the maximum range is 202 kilometers. That is, the energy consumption per 100 kilometers is only 11.78 kilowatt-hours of electricity, which is much lower than the existing 16-kilowatt-hours of electricity. /Low consumption per 100 kilometers.
This fast-charging battery is suitable for new energy passenger cars, online ride-hailing, taxis and other types of vehicles, and can reduce the number and weight of batteries carried by the vehicle itself. While shortening the charging time, the efficient thermal management system ensures that the liquid-cooled battery and battery immune system can still operate efficiently and stably when charging more than 350KW. After thousands of experiments, the unit charge capacity of Miaosheng's super fast-charging batteries is only 10% - 20% of the heat generated by ordinary batteries. It has passed multiple national safety requirements tests and truly does not fire, explode or leak.
