Lithium-ion battery structure
Lithium-ion batteries are the replacement products of metal lithium batteries that appeared a few years ago, and the main components of batteries are positive and negative electrodes, electrolytes, diaphragms and shells.
Positive electrode - The carbon electrode that can absorb lithium ions is used. When discharged, lithium becomes lithium ion, leaving the battery anode and reaching the lithium ion battery cathode.
The negative ---- material selects imbedable lithium compounds with potential as close as possible to lithium potential, such as various carbon materials including natural graphite, synthetic graphite, carbon fiber, mesophase carbon pellets and metal oxides.
Electrolyte - A mixed solvent system with alkyl carbonates such as LiPF6 ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate and low viscosity diethyl carbonate.
Diaphragm -- The use of polyene microporous membranes such as PE, PP or their composite membranes, especially PP/PE/PP three-layer membranes not only have a low melting point, but also have a high puncture resistance, which plays a heat insurance role.
Shell -- made of steel or aluminum, the cover assembly has the function of explosion-proof power failure.
