Huawei Mate30 Pro quick test: How is the 14250 battery performance?
AndroidAuthority tested the fast charging speed of Huawei Mate30Pro. The test types were Huawei 27W wireless fast charging, Huawei 40W wired fast charging and 12WPD/QC3.0 fast charging test. It should be noted here that to achieve 27W wireless fast charging, you need to use Huawei’s official 40W charging head and 5A USB-C charging cable.
The test process is also very simple. Run out the Huawei Mate30Pro 14250 battery (4500mAh) and charge it using the above three fast charging methods until the 14250 battery is 100%. Actual test results show that it takes 90 minutes to fully charge using 27W wireless fast charging, 66 minutes using 40W fast charging, and 124 minutes using 12WPD/QC3.0 fast charging.
AndroidAuthority pointed out that Huawei's 27W wireless fast charging takes 90 minutes to fully charge. Compared with other models' built-in wired fast charging, this number is still considerable. It takes 103 minutes to fully charge the Samsung S10+ with its own charger (0~100%), 108 minutes for the Samsung Galaxy Fold, and 119 minutes for the Google Pixel 3XL. However, compared with the 71 minutes of OnePlus 7T Pro, Huawei’s 27W fast charging is still slightly inferior.
Overall, AndroidAuthority believes that Huawei's 27W wireless fast charging is impressive. Although its performance is not as good as the wired 40W fast charging, the power of 27W is higher than most other wireless fast charging solutions.
