      Lu Zhide, general manager of GRST, said that water-based production and recovery, regeneration and reuse are the core technologies of GRST.       Water-based process can be said to be the key word of GRST batteries, and the most mysterious thing is that they use a single water-based binder to mix the positive and negative electrode materials of the battery, and then use water-based processes for production throughout the process. GRST technical director Wang Ranshi said that compared with other battery recycling technologies, GRST uses only 1/4 of the process cost but can obtain 140% higher recycled material value than traditional methods. The carbon emissions during the whole process are only equivalent to 1/8 of the existing recycling process, and the size of the recycling scale does not affect the efficiency, so it can be used in different regions and even small towns.

      Wang Ranshi introduced that the GRST power battery production process can reduce equipment investment by 70-90% and fixed asset investment by 15-30%; it can also reduce production energy consumption by 40-50% and costs by 6-8%. "Using a simple and green material system and a fully water-based non-toxic production process is our core competitiveness." Wang Ranshi said that the green production and use of GRST did not compromise its other properties. At present, the energy density of a GRST power battery cell can reach 200-230Wh/kg; the cycle life can reach more than 3,000 times. At the site, GRST batteries also underwent acupuncture and 10V overcharge tests, showing excellent safety performance. They will not bloat or even catch fire like traditional batteries. In the 10V overcharge test, the battery temperature can even be maintained below 150˚ C. . "GRST batteries also have strong adaptability to temperature. The charge and discharge capacity can be maintained at more than 80% at -30˚ C, and the charge and discharge capacity at -40 ˚ C can be maintained at more than 45%. Under high temperature conditions of 50 ˚ C for 7 days After the standard cycle test, the capacity still remains above 99.8%. More importantly, our battery rate performance can reach the level of releasing 80% of the rated capacity within 6 minutes and charging 80% of the rated capacity within 10 minutes." In Wang Ranshi’s view, only the ability to charge and discharge quickly can fundamentally expand the application scope of lithium batteries.
