How much do you know about the wiring method of rack-mounted UPS power supply? Rack-mounted UPS power supplies are an important basis for maintaining stable power supply during the power supply process. However, there are still many problems in the current installation and use of UPS power supplies. Since many equipment in computer rooms and hospitals cannot be powered off, many companies will The instrument is equipped with a rack-mounted UPS power supply, so how to connect the UPS power supply? The editor will introduce it to you below.
Rack-mounted UPS power wiring methods and steps:
①UPS wire selection
The selection of wires is very important. If your selection is incorrect, it will cause the circuit to trip and affect the use of the battery. It is recommended to use 6 square meters of wires for a 10KW rack-mounted UPS power supply. It is best to use 4 wires below 10KW. Square, the wire needs copper core;
②Battery connection
The most important thing when installing a rack-mounted UPS power supply is to connect the battery. The key point of connecting the battery is to connect the positive pole to the negative pole, connect each battery in series, and then lead out two power cords, one positive pole and one negative pole connected to the air switch;
③Connect to UPS host
The led battery power cord can be made into a plug and connected to the UPS host. Other sockets can be made on the UPS host, such as smart sockets and smart plugs;
④Connect the host input
There are two forms of host input, one is mains access, and the other is battery access. Mains access is 220V or 380V power supply, live wire is connected to L, and neutral wire is connected to N;
⑤Connect the battery to the host
The battery is connected to the host through positive and negative connections. The positive pole of the battery is connected to the positive pole of the host, and the negative pole of the battery is connected to the negative pole of the host. Remember not to reverse the connection;
⑥Input access device
The output terminal is the power supply that can be connected to the device, which is the power supply we ultimately need. The host will automatically stabilize the voltage to avoid damage to the instrument caused by voltage shock;
To put it simply, insert the three-hole plug on the rack-mounted UPS power supply into the mains power strip, turn on the UPS power switch, and allow the rack-mounted UPS power supply to work normally, and then connect the computer host and monitor. Plug the power cord plug into the jack on the back of the UPS power supply body and turn it on one by one.
Precautions for installing rack-mounted UPS power supply:
▲When connecting the rack-mounted UPS power supply to an AC input power supply with a ground wire, an appropriate branch circuit protector (circuit breaker) must be installed. Connecting it to any other type of socket may cause electric shock injury.
▲If the charging cable or power cable needs to be replaced, please purchase raw materials from our company's service station or dealer to avoid heating or ignition due to insufficient capacity, which may cause a fire.
▲In order to reduce the risk of electric shock caused by poor grounding of the load equipment, when installing the computer interface signal cable, the AC input power must be cut off and ensure that all signal connectors are connected before the power can be connected.
▲The area where the rack-mounted UPS power supply is placed must have adequate ventilation and be away from water, flammable gases and corrosive agents.
▲The UPS should be placed near the mains input socket so that in an emergency, the mains input plug can be unplugged and the power supply can be cut off.
▲The input socket of the rack-mounted UPS power supply must be connected to the mains power, and the output socket can be connected to the computer and monitor through the wiring board.
Note: For machines with a rack-mounted UPS power supply below 3K, the output socket and voltage regulator plus battery output socket are not allowed to be connected to printer equipment, and the UPS power output is not allowed to be connected to electric drills, electric hammers and electric fans. The power output socket of the UPS cannot be directly connected to the input socket. The UPS power supply load cannot exceed 80% of its own calibrated load.
Precautions for rack-mounted UPS power supply wiring:
1. Confirm how much DC voltage the UPS needs to be connected to;
2. Connect the batteries in series or parallel to produce the required voltage;
3. Make sure the positive and negative poles are connected;
4. Each battery in each battery group is connected in series;
5. The connection method of each group of batteries and other groups of batteries (ie: group to group) is parallel connection;
6. It is strictly prohibited to "connect" batteries from different groups together in series.
