      After the development of the power grid company over the years, the amount of information it dispatched after 2000 was very small, and the power grid at that time was only a one-way power supply from the power supply point to the user side transmission and distribution. After the popularity of new energy and electric vehicles over the years, the business of power grid companies has gradually expanded, especially as a large number of new energy sources have begun to intervene, and the amount of information collected from the user side, including the subsequent collection, has also gradually increased. Now the number of information points collected by a regional power grid has reached millions. With the further advancement of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things, a large amount of data will be connected to the power grid in the future. These data accesses actually provide more data foundation for the ubiquitous power Internet of Things. The next step is to integrate these data Its application is also a very important next step for power companies.

      Let me mention here that there is a big difference between the energy Internet and the traditional information Internet, because energy is a non-replicable quantity, and information can be easily circulated and transmitted on the network, including the replication of its information. All very easy. Energy storage has always been a problem. Traditionally, the storage of electricity through power storage stations has always been a matter of great concern, because the power grid stores energy. The two main points will be introduced later, because electric energy requires instantaneous balance, and in different areas, In different spaces and times, the value reflected by the price is also different. There are different periods of the day. The supply and demand are different in different periods, and the prices are also different.

      Its usage and value are also very different between power generation areas and areas with tight power consumption.

      This is the value of different time periods. The pricing mechanism currently used in China still formulates different pricing according to fixed time periods. Foreign developed countries use real-time pricing, which may have a higher electricity price difference. The electricity price during a certain tense period will be higher, and the electricity price during a certain low period will be lower.

      The following introduces new solutions for energy storage on the grid side. At present, many people are familiar with the applications of energy storage in these four fields. Here I will briefly introduce the current overall situation to you. Our company has also done a large number of thermal power plant frequency regulation projects for energy storage on the power generation side. The energy storage on the power generation side is related to the assessment rules of the thermal power plants in the region, and is closely combined with some local power auxiliary services. Policies to serve the market. At present, energy storage on the power generation side is a project with the shortest payback period and the best investment return among electrochemical energy storage. But it has certain selectivity, and not all thermal power plants can participate in this project.

      The second type of projects is for the grid side. The focus today is on energy storage on the grid side of the transmission and distribution network. Grid-side energy storage does not have a very strict definition so far. I personally understand it this way. The definition of grid-side energy storage is relatively simple. It is managed by the power grid company and can be of value to the power grid company. The value it exerts It is for the value on the grid side, this type of energy storage. Including those built and operated by the power grid company. Later, with the introduction of new policies, energy storage that may be constructed by a third party, operated by a third party but dispatched by the power supply network company to solve some key problems in the power grid can be regarded as grid-side energy storage.

      The last part is the new energy grid connection side. The energy storage of new energy is mainly to solve the problem of new energy consumption and improve the grid connection capacity of new energy in the region. New energy storage is mainly aimed at large-scale photovoltaic power stations and energy storage power stations in the northwest region. This is also closely integrated with local policies.

      Let’s introduce some of the main values on the grid side. The current heroic deeds on the grid side are mainly large-scale energy storage power stations built on the side of substations. It serves as a link between the previous and the next, solving a certain load for the entire downstream power transmission area and the lower-level central distribution network and power distribution area. It has several aspects. One is to solve the load gap of the power company in the supply area, and the other is to solve the two problems of new energy grid integration in the area (53:03). At present, its main function is to solve the current power load gap in different periods, including seasonal periods and time periods. It is necessary to say that energy storage on the grid side and peak shaving and valley filling on the user side are necessary. The big difference is that user-side peak shaving and valley filling are all aimed at making profits based on electricity price periods. The economic benefits of power grid companies connecting to power grid energy storage are not so easy to calculate. It is more about a specific time period. To solve it internally, we use dispatching methods to solve some load demand gaps in the power grid, such as power supply in summer and air conditioning and refrigeration load in summer, which are concentrated in a certain time period. Another one is the heating load in winter and some load fluctuations during important time periods every day.

      As an important hub connecting the backbone power grid and the medium-voltage distribution king, the substation has also proposed the concept of multi-station integration. Now the State Grid Corporation of China is also promoting a multi-station comprehensive substation, which mainly includes six stations integrated into one. In traditional substations On the basis of this, data cores and communication base stations are added, including Beidou satellite base stations, 5G communication base stations, electric vehicle charging and swapping stations, energy storage stations, and distributed energy stations. The energy storage station plays an important regulating role here, because distributed energy also serves as an intersection node. On the other hand, the charging of electric vehicles will also bring great fluctuations to the power supply in local areas. Another is that for connected data centers and communication base stations, energy storage stations can be used as their backup power sources. and important power supply safety guarantee. In this way, the multi-station integrated substation in the entire station can actually play the role of shared type, hub type and platform type among the three types proposed by the power grid company.       The third one is on the platform side. In fact, the third one is segment. Adding an energy storage to the end of the platform side can solve the problem of energy storage for users in the platform area with a relatively large gap. For energy storage in the Taiwan area, we use modules that can be combined and small cabinets. A small cabinet can hold lithium battery modules ranging from 60 kWh to 200 kWh. This type of small energy storage can be combined with a columnar (sound) transformer to solve the problem of relatively long cycle and high cost.

      These are mainly cloud platform management of energy storage, mainly including data monitoring.

      The last picture briefly talks about the comprehensive role of grid-side energy storage. In summary, it includes frequency regulation, voltage regulation and peak shaving, backup power supply, and black-start power supply. The embodied value includes reducing the expansion of power generation, transmission and distribution equipment, improving grid design utilization, reducing the pressure on frequency and peak regulation of thermal power plants, and smoothing peaks and valleys.
