my country has made important breakthroughs in the research and development of perovskite batteries. The team of Professor Han Liyuan of Shanghai Jiao Tong University collaborated with Suzhou Liyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to develop a perovskite solar module with an area of 36 square centimeters, with an energy conversion efficiency exceeding 12%. This achievement was published in the recently published "Solar Cell Efficiency Record Table", an authoritative magazine in the photovoltaic field, and was certified by the Japan Institute of Industrial Technology, an authoritative international certification agency. Due to its many advantages such as low production costs, perovskite solar cells are regarded as one of the most promising new energy batteries to replace traditional petrochemical energy. According to reports, Han Liyuan's team used printing to replace the laboratory spin coating process, making it possible to make large-area uniform molds. While increasing the effective area of the battery through high-precision integrated module design, combined with improvements in material formulas, the repeatability and reliability of battery pack production efficiency are ensured. Chen Han, a Ph.D. from the Solar Energy Conversion Materials Research Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, said that the above research has overcome the technical bottleneck of large-area preparation of perovskite battery packs and is of great significance in promoting its large-scale industrialization process. Ma Xinsheng, director of the National Engineering Research Center for Ultrafine Powders, said that compared with traditional thin-film batteries, perovskite thin-film batteries can get rid of dependence on the environment and high-cost raw materials, greatly reducing operating difficulty and equipment costs. Its industrialization prospects are good and it is expected to break the current monopoly of silicon solar cells. As the most widely used new energy battery on the market, silicon solar cells account for about 90% of the market share of photovoltaic modules. While production costs have dropped significantly, the efficiency improvement of crystalline silicon battery packs has also begun to enter a "bottleneck period", making it more difficult to further reduce costs and increase efficiency. Against this background, perovskite solar cells, which have the advantages of low production costs, simple production raw materials and processes, and green and environmentally friendly production processes, have begun to gain more and more attention. In recent years, a large amount of technological and industrial capital has entered the field of perovskite solar cells, driving the continuous improvement of its photoelectric conversion efficiency. However, most of the perovskite cells currently developed have an area of 1 square centimeter or less. The technical challenges faced by large-area high-efficiency components have become the main obstacle to moving out of the laboratory and towards large-scale production.
