      Influencing factor 1: Discharge depth and number of rechargeable times

      Influencing factor 2: overcharging, discharging, and large charging and discharging currents

      Avoid overcharging the battery. Any form of overcharging in lithium-ion batteries can cause serious damage to battery performance and even explosion.

      Avoid deep discharge below 2V or 2.5V, as this can quickly and permanently damage lithium-ion batteries. Internal metal plating may occur, which can cause short circuits, making the battery unusable or unsafe.

      Most lithium-ion batteries have electronic circuits inside the battery pack. If the battery voltage drops below 2.5V, exceeds 4.3V during charging or discharging, or if the battery current exceeds a predetermined threshold, the electronic circuit will disconnect the battery.

      Avoid high charging and discharging currents, as they exert excessive pressure on the battery.

      Influencing factor 3: Overheating or undercooling environment

      Temperature also has a significant impact on the lifespan of lithium batteries. The environment below freezing point may cause lithium-ion batteries to burn out instantly when electronic products are opened, while an overheated environment can reduce the battery's capacity. Therefore, if the laptop uses an external power source for a long time without removing the battery, the battery will be in the high heat discharged by the laptop for a long time and will soon be scrapped.

      Influencing factor 4: Long term full power and no power state

      High and low battery levels have adverse effects on the lifespan of lithium batteries. The number of repeatable charges marked on most sold appliances or batteries is based on a discharge of 80% as the benchmark test. Experiments have shown that for some laptop lithium-ion batteries, if the battery voltage often exceeds the standard voltage by 0.1 volts, that is, from 4.1 volts to 4.2 volts, the battery life will be halved. If the battery life is further increased by 0.1 volts, the life will be reduced to one-third of the original; The more fully charged the battery, the greater the battery loss. Long term low or no battery conditions will increase the resistance to electronic movement within the battery, leading to a decrease in battery capacity. Lithium batteries should preferably be in the middle state of charge, which will result in the longest battery life.
