      The top 3, top 5, and top 10 power lithium-ion battery companies have installed 2.8GWh, 3.3GWh, and 3.7GWh of power lithium-ion batteries, respectively, accounting for 69.7%, 80.3%, and 90.7% of the total installed vehicle volume. Both the installed vehicle volume and proportion have slightly decreased compared to September, but the number of total installed vehicle companies has decreased by 3. The industry is still in the stage of elimination and integration, and is constantly changing.

      The installation of lithium-ion battery vehicles in China has significantly slowed down compared to the same period last year. In October, the loading volume was only 4.1GWh, a year-on-year decrease of 31.4% and a month on month increase of 3.1%. However, lithium iron phosphate batteries are showing an upward trend, with a month on month increase of 12%. From January to October, the cumulative installed capacity of lithium-ion batteries in China reached 46.2GWh, a year-on-year increase of 33.2%. Among them, the cumulative installed capacity of ternary batteries is 32GWh, accounting for 69.2% of the total installed capacity, with a year-on-year cumulative increase of 52.4%; The cumulative installed capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries reached 13GWh, accounting for 28.2% of the total installed capacity, with a year-on-year increase of 1.2%.

      With the continuous improvement of aggregation, the ranking of power lithium-ion battery companies in terms of vehicle installation volume is also constantly changing. In October, the top three companies were Ningde Times, BYD, and Lishen, while the third ranked company is constantly changing. From January to October, the top three are Ningde Times, BYD, and Hefei Guoxuan.

      It is worth noting that the proportion of vehicle production above 160Wh/kg in October continues to rise. According to data, in October, the highest production of pure electric passenger vehicle systems in China was in the energy density range of 140 (including) -160Wh/kg, reaching 31000 vehicles, accounting for 50.5% of the total production of pure electric passenger vehicles; The production of 160Wh/kg and above and 125 (including) -140Wh/kg range models is 20000 and 9000, respectively, accounting for 32.5% and 15.2% of the total production of pure electric passenger vehicles.

      Insufficient high-quality production and surplus low-end production have always been a problem that troubles the development of China's power lithium-ion battery industry. With the slowdown in the growth rate of new energy vehicles, related issues have become more prominent, reflected in the data that the absolute number of power lithium-ion battery suppliers is decreasing, while the market share of top companies is constantly increasing.
