      What is overcharging?

      1) In theory, Li ion batteries are charged at a constant current and constant voltage at a certain rate. When the charging is converted to a constant voltage of 4.20V and the current in the charging circuit is 0.01C, the constant voltage charging state is still in progress, which is considered overcharging.

      2) Overcharging may cause leakage, deformation, ignition, and swelling as the voltage reaches a certain level with the deepening of charging after constant voltage failure, which is one of the main reasons for damaging battery performance.

      3) Adding PCB board protection outside the battery, or setting up protective circuits and/or time limit devices (depending on the charging current) in the charger to prevent overcharging of the battery, can achieve the purpose of prevention and protection.

What is over release? What are the adverse consequences of excessive release? How to avoid it?

      1) The battery is discharged at a constant current at a certain rate. When the battery voltage reaches 2.4V, the discharge state continues, which is called overdischarge.

      2) Overdischarge may cause leakage, zero voltage, and negative voltage, which are one of the main reasons for damaging battery performance.

      3) Add a PCB board outside the battery or design protective circuits and/or time limiting devices in the charger to prevent over discharge.
