    The first formic acid-based 402030 battery has been developed

     

    Swiss researchers have recently developed the world's first formic acid-based 402030 battery. Compared with the traditional hydrogen 402030 batterys that require hydrogen, the formic acid it needs is easier to store and transport. This 402030 battery is suitable for providing environmentally friendly energy to remote areas.

     

    In the development of environmentally friendly energy, using hydrogen as a fuel is a key direction. Hydrogen does not produce pollutants when burned and has excellent environmental performance, so hydrogen 402030 batterys and other equipment have been developed in the past. But the problem is that the volume energy density of hydrogen is very low. To produce practical energy, the volume of hydrogen required in the gaseous state is huge, and there are many difficulties in compressing, storing and transporting hydrogen.

     

    Formic acid can be generated by the reaction of hydrogen and carbon dioxide, or it can be released through chemical reactions. 1 liter of formic acid can generate 590 liters of hydrogen. Formic acid is liquid under normal conditions, easy to store, transport and handle, and its global production is stable. It has been widely used in agriculture, leather, rubber, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

     

    Researchers from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and other institutions recently announced that they have developed a formic acid-based 402030 battery. It mainly consists of two parts. The first part, called HYFORM, can produce hydrogen from formic acid using a ruthenium-based catalyst. The second part is a 402030 battery called PEMFC, which uses the hydrogen sent by the first part to generate electricity.

     

    According to reports, the device has a nominal power of 800 watts, which is roughly equivalent to the power required to charge 200 smartphones at the same time.

     

    This device also has the advantages of low maintenance cost and scalable technology, and can be used for both home and industrial purposes. As long as the formic acid supply remains stable, the 402030 battery can operate as an environmentally friendly energy source for a long time. Researchers believe that it is very suitable for providing environmentally friendly energy to remote areas.
