Requirements for installation of ship batteries
1. Installation of ring lights
When vertically installing 2 or 3 signal lights for joint display, the spacing between these lights should not be less than 2 meters, and except for the case of towing lights, the lowest one of the lights should be installed at a height of not less than 4 meters above the ship's hull; When installing three signal lights, the distance between them should be equal.
2. Installation of foremast lights:
(1) Except for operating signal lights and as described in Rule 8.2.3.1 (4), mast lights should be higher and away from all other lights and obstructions.

In the latter case, they should be placed at a horizontal distance of not less than 2 meters orthogonal to the centerline of the ship's bow and stern;
(2) The height of the foremast lights above the hull should not be less than 6m; If the width of the ship is greater than 6m, the height of the lamp should not be less than the width of the ship, but not necessarily greater than 12m;
(3) The foremast lights should be installed on the longitudinal section of the ship; The foremast light should be placed no more than 1/4 of the ship's length from the bow.
(4) If only one mast light is equipped, it should be installed at the front of the ship at the same height as the foremast light.
3. Installation of Rear Mast Light:
(1) Vertical position: The aft mast light should be at least 4.5m higher than the forward mast light. The vertical distance between the front and rear mast lights should be such that, under all normal draft differences, when viewed from a distance of 1000m from the bow of the ship, the rear mast light should be visible above the front mast light and separated.
(2) Horizontal position: The aft mast light should be installed on the longitudinal section of the ship. The horizontal distance between the front and rear mast lights should not be less than 1/2 of the ship's length, but not more than 100m.
4. Installation of ganglights:
