The "button cell battery cr2025" Project of the Ningbo Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has passed the acceptance
The "button cell battery cr2025" project, led by the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has recently passed the acceptance. According to reports, this technological breakthrough will further promote the large-scale application of all-solid-state lithium batteries in China, and is expected to make new energy vehicle batteries last longer and safer.
The "button cell battery cr2025" project is led by the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and participating units include the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The team has mainly developed a series of high-performance solid electrolyte materials, hybrid solid-liquid electrolyte cells based on in-situ solidification, and all-solid-state lithium battery cells, breaking through the relevant technologies from material research and development to battery integration.
At present, this scientific and technological achievement has gone out of the laboratory and entered the "industry gate". Based on this project, Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd. invested 500 million yuan in Ningbo to prepare for the construction of a billion-watt-hour solid-state power lithium battery production line. In addition, the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences also cooperated with Beijing Weilan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to establish Jiangsu Weilan New Energy Battery Co., Ltd. in Liyang, Jiangsu, and is building a battery pilot line.
At present, many countries around the world are planning to develop button cell battery cr2025 technology, striving to seize the initiative in the future lithium battery market competition. Among them, 23 Japanese automobile, battery and material companies such as Toyota, Honda, and Panasonic, as well as 15 academic institutions such as Kyoto University and the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research of Japan announced that they will invest 10 billion yen to jointly develop the next generation of all-solid-state lithium batteries for electric vehicles. In addition, industry giants such as Samsung, Dyson, and Mercedes-Benz have also deployed solid-state battery research and development.
