Compared with automobiles, the emission control capability and fuel quality of marine engines are relatively low, and improving fuel quality is the main means of controlling emissions. 1. The use of electric boats is mainly concentrated in short distance transportation vehicles for inland rivers and lakes, sightseeing boats, ferry boats, etc;
2. Electrification of ships under 2000 tons is relatively simple, while electrification of large tonnage ships is difficult. Large tonnage ships are used for long-distance transportation, while small tonnage ships are used for short distance transportation;
3. Scenarios such as ocean transportation, coastal transportation, and inter provincial transportation are not suitable for electrification;
4. There are also many ship classifications and application areas in Neihu and Neihu, and we expect only 60% to achieve electrification. With the increasing feasibility of high-power pure electric versions, the application scope of electric ships will further expand. Lithium batteries are suitable for electric ships in China based on reliability and economy. In recent years, the development of power batteries and BMS battery management systems has been rapid. Many ship lithium battery manufacturers have obtained certification from China Classification Society for their power battery products through experimental testing. Moreover, the unified discharge rate reaches 20C, and the ship's power operability is good. Under the dual role of environmental protection and economy, the demand for introducing electric ships is increasing. According to market calculations, the demand for lithium batteries brought about by ship electrification in China is expected to enter a period of rapid growth starting this year, with an expected increase from 1.14 GWh this year to 6.27 GWh by 2025.
