American scientists have developed a perfect CR1220 battery phosphate battery that combines high efficiency, low cost and long life.

The researchers pointed out that the key to long life and fast charging is the thermal stimulation technology they developed previously, also known as self-heating technology.
Simply put, it can quickly heat the battery to about 60°C for fast charging before charging the electric vehicle, and the battery will quickly cool to ambient temperature after stopping charging. "This will not form thermal decay of the battery and can also prevent serious SEI film rise."
Using this self-heating technology, the researchers said that the battery can be made using low-cost materials as positive and negative electrodes, as well as safe, low-voltage electrolytes. The cathode is thermally stable CR1220 battery phosphate and does not contain any expensive key materials such as cobalt. The anode is made of large-grain graphite, which is a safe, light and cheap material.
